Patrick Loo
Patrick gained extensive experience within the civic and commercial sectors while working at Jasmax from 2010–2015 where he was a Senior Associate. His last major role was as lead designer for the interior refurbishment of the Category 1 listed CPO Building at Britomart Train Station, City Rail Link project.
Following his time at Jasmax, Patrick carried out stints at boutique offices PAC Studio and Monk Mackenzie, focusing on high-end residential work.
Alongside architecture, Patrick is also involved with installation and public art projects. He recently was part of an artist team commissioned by Auckland Council to create a large-scale permanent interactive light artwork for children and families titled “Rainbow Machine”. Patrick was also co-founder of Oh.No.Sumo, an experimental design collective that focused on immersive works involving the public in the project creation process.
